Prior to any projects being undertaken with Honda, InterTech spent over a year discussing and developing an evolution to their existing interior corporate
identity (CI). This was an exciting opportunity to assist Honda and reflect such an important market leaders’ presence within their sales environment. Our time
was spent designing a compound of products to sit within the Honda showroom and sales environment all of which could be implemented from new or fitted into
existing showrooms with relative ease.
Since the system was designed, InterTech have completed multiple projects for Honda, some of which have been complete turnkey operations and others
retrofit schemes for clients wanting to introduce the InterTech system into already operational dealerships.
Reading Honda is InterTech’s very first completed store for Honda. The showroom was a 9-week project from preparation of plans and customer approval.
InterTech services started from site survey, production of store design layout and preparation of all manufacturing plans.
The merchandising furniture was all manufactured by InterTech together with the original design prepared some months earlier.
Incorporating brand new components, this store was a prototype. It incorporated a lighting system designed in Honda’s corporate colours.
The showroom also featured a branded wall system for the display of both Honda and generic products.
One of the key design features is the store floor plan, with the use of walkways and zoned areas for better display results.
A vivid colour scheme was used on the building infrastructure to create atmosphere and a vibrant environment.
Branded furniture highlighted a strong visual message, showing the Honda name reflected in a fully corporate showroom using these additional components to enhance the style of the store.
